GULF COAST RINGERS, INC.  is a group of experienced handbell ringers dedicated to promoting the art of Handbell Ringing.   The group was established in May, 2010 under the direction of Jeanne Jessup with members from surrounding communities.  The Gulf Coast Ringers present upbeat programs across the gulf coast featuring both sacred and secular music.

Memo sent to handbell ringers March 2, 2011

We received a note from the Vespers Coordinator of the Port Charlotte Seventh Day Adventist Church.
    "It was a thrill to have you perform at our church.  I've heard several handbell groups, but I've never heard anything quite so magnificent as your groups performance.  I loved hearing and seeing the different techniques. "

We have been asked to do another concert there next year.
